Project Manager – Fire & Security
Due to continued expansion, we have a vacancy for a Project Manager to join our team. This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced Senior Engineer looking for a new opportunity and a fresh Challenge and the next step in their career from an on-site engineering supervisory position. The candidate should have experience in the following disciplines:-
- Fire Alarm Systems
- IPCCTV
- Access Control
- Any other relevant Systems
The candidate should ideally have experience in these areas and also working knowledge of the relevant British Standards applicable for the systems. The candidate should have the ability to resolve technical issues and carry out surveys when required. We would expect the candidate to manage our small works/ remedial works and maintenance/service Departments. The Project Manager would be responsible for stock ordering for projects and running to budget, reporting on site progressions, attend site meetings liaising with main contractors and Electrical contractors.
A high level of communication and interpersonal skills would be required for the role. Our Projects are mostly within the central belt of Scotland.
The following skills and experience would be beneficial to any candidate:-
- Industry training specifically in Fire and Intruder Alarms
- Knowledge and experience of Fire Alarm Systems to BS 5839-1:2013
- Strong Communication skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- CSCS/ECS Card would be essential
Applicants will be subject to a five-year security vetting.
Working Hours are 40 Hours per week Mon – Fri, a competitive package will be provided for the winning candidate.
